Q: How do I sign up for Counter Points Rewards?
A: You can sign up at any participating The Counter restaurant by giving your phone number to the Server/Counter or Take-Out staff member when the check is presented*, or sign up online.

*If you sign up in store, you will still need to register your account to redeem Rewards.

Q: How old do I have to be to join?
A: You must be 18 years of age or older to become a member.
Q: Once I’ve signed up in-restaurant, how do I register my account?

Q: Do I need to enter my personal information to register my account?
A: We ask for only a few pieces of information such as your birthday, phone number and email address. Rest assured that we will never sell your information to third parties.
Q: Are there any costs or fees to be a member?

Q: Who has access to the information in my account?

Q: How can I see my points balance and available Rewards?
A: Your points balance and available rewards can be viewed by logging into your account. Please allow up to 24 hours for all points to process and appear on your account.
Q: How can I change the email or phone number tied to my account?
A: You can log into your account and update your profile at any time.
Q: How do I change my account password?
A: You can change your password any time by following these steps:
  1. Log into your account.
  2. Click the drop-down button on the top right side of the screen.
  3. Select “My Account”.
  4. Enter your new password in the password field.
  5. Click “Save Changes“ at the bottom of the screen to complete the process.
Q: I forgot my username and password, what now?
A: Your username is the email address or phone number tied to your account.

Q: How do I close my account?

Q: In order to earn points and redeem rewards, do I need to opt-in to receive marketing emails?
A: No. At registration, you must provide your email address, but you may choose to opt-out of receiving marketing emails and still earn points and redeem Rewards at participating locations.
Q: What do I do if my favorite The Counter location is not an available option when I join?
A: Contact us at counterloyalty@kahalamgmt.com and tell us which location you were unable to locate. In the meantime, to complete your registration, select an alternate location. You can always access your account information at a later date and select a new favorite restaurant.
Q: Which locations do not participate in Counter Points Rewards?
A: The Counter Points Rewards program is not available at Airport and Cloud Kitchen locations.
Q: What is the point structure of Counter Points rewards?
A: You earn one point for every full dollar spent on the pre-tax and pre-tip transaction amount (e.g., $1.00 - $1.99 = 1 point) on qualifying purchases.
Q: How do I earn points?
A: Provide your phone number to the Server/Counter or Take-Out staff member in-restaurant, before checkout. You can also login to your account for orders placed on TheCounter.com, or orders placed through The Counter Burger App. Earn one point for every dollar spent on qualifying purchases; excluding gratuity, taxes, alcohol, and other exclusions. Purchasing gift cards does not qualify for points; however, gift cards used as tender do qualify for points. Please allow up to 24 hours for all points to process and appear on your account.
Q: Can I still get points for my purchase if I forgot to enter my phone number at checkout?
A: Yes, you can! Simply send an email to counterloyalty@kahalamgmt.com with your Rewards account information and a copy of your itemized receipt and we’ll be happy to load the correct points to your account.
Q: How can I use my points?
A: Once you accumulate 100 points, your points are converted into a $10 Reward to use on your next in-restaurant or online purchase. $10 Reward is valid for one time use only. Valid on entrees of $10 or more. Additional terms apply.
Q: What purchases qualify for points?
A: Points are not earned on orders via third party delivery or other third-party sites, alcohol purchases, gift card purchases, gratuities, coupon discounts, taxes, or receipt adjustments.
Q: Is there a limit to how many points I can earn?
A: For every 100 points you earn, a $10 Reward is generated. There is no limit to how many $10 Rewards you can earn, but only one $10 Reward can be redeemed per transaction. Each $10 Reward expires 90 days from the date of issue. Valid on entrees of $10 or more. Additional terms apply.
Q: Can I get points transferred from the previous loyalty program at The Counter?
A: Yes. Points will automatically be transferred. In order to begin using rewards, you will need to:
  1. Sign up for a Counter Points Rewards account if you have not already done so, by providing your phone number and registering your account at www.thecounter.com/loyalty .
  2. OR, Reach out to Guest Services for assistance at counterloyalty@kahalamgmt.com with your name, email address and registered phone number. Without this information we cannot transfer points to your account.
Q: Can I redeem my $10 reward and another offer on the same transaction?
A: No, you can only redeem one offer/reward per transaction.
Q: Does the $10 reward cover tax?
A: No, the $10 reward does not cover tax.
Q: If I have multiple $10 rewards, can I redeem more than one at the same time?
A: No, you can only redeem one offer/reward per transaction.
Q: Does my account need to be registered to unlock and redeem rewards?
A: Yes. You must register your account to unlock and redeem rewards. If your account is not registered, points will be earned and rewards will be generated, but you will be unable to redeem rewards until the account is registered. Keep in mind, once a reward is generated, it will expire in 90 days regardless of whether or not the account is registered.
Q: How am I notified I have earned a $10 reward?
A: If you have registered your account online, after you provide your phone number to the crew member, they will ask you at each visit if you would like to use the reward until it is redeemed or expires. You will also receive an email informing you that a $10 reward was loaded to your account (if you have opted into receiving emails).

If your account has NOT been registered online, you will not be notified of any earned rewards. You must fully register your account to unlock rewards and will not be able to redeem them until you register.

Q: How do I redeem a $10 reward?
A: Register your account to unlock rewards.

Provide your phone number to the cashier at checkout in-store, and if a reward is available, the cashier will prompt you to redeem it.

Log into your Counter Points account when placing orders online at order.thecounter.com. At checkout, select the $10 reward and click “Apply”.

Q: When do $10 rewards expire?
A: $10 rewards expire 90 days from the date they are earned and issued.
Q: Is there a purchase minimum to redeem a $10 reward?
A: No, there is no minimum to redeem a $10 Reward. The $10 Reward is valid for one time use only. If check total is under $10, you will forfeit the remaining amount.
Q: When will I receive my birthday reward?
A: Your birthday reward will be loaded to your rewards account 7 days prior to your birthday. Please contact us if you do not see your reward arrive in that time frame at counterloyalty@kahalamgmt.com
Q: How long do I have to redeem my birthday reward?
A: You have 14 days to redeem your birthday reward in-restaurant or online at order.thecounter.com. Your birthday reward is valid 7 days prior to your birthday and expires 7 days after your birthday.
